All properties marketed for sale or let in England & Wales are required by law to hold a valid Energy Performance Certificate (EPC). These are valid for a period of 10 years. 

 

If your property has been marketed or let within the last 10 years, it may be that an EPC is already valid on your property. You can check whether you have an EPC in place by using this link. If a valid EPC appears on the register, you do not need to order a new one.

Please be aware that EPCs are a legal requirement, and we are unable to complete a tenancy without one, so if an EPC is required, we would ask that you please order and pay for this as soon as possible.
